Fun Day Details

Admission is $20/CVC member, and $25/non-CVC members, $10 for CVC Rescue Vizsla owners and FREE for children 12 years and under.  New membership will be available at the event.  Admission includes lunch, access to all demos and seminars, fun match, and grounds amenities.  Cost of microchip is additional.  Versatility tests are additional (see below).  Please bring water for your Vizsla(s), and a lawn chair for yourself.  Bring a leash, tie out or crate to secure your dog. Dogs will be permitted off-leash in designated areas.  Owners are responsible for supervising their dog(s).  Event is rain or shine!

Versatility Testing Info

Here’s an opportunity to earn a pass on all three areas of the Vizsla Club of America’s Versatility Program (field, obedience, & conformation)!  Testing will begin at 9am, and will go throughout the day.  Test entry fees are: Field - $22, Conformation & Obedience - $12 each.  VCA Versatility recording fees of $2 per dog/per test entered are included in the entry fee(s).  No charge for Conformation measurement only.  Entrants must supply dog's registration info; AKC Reg Name, Sire, Dam, AKC Number, Birth Date, and Breeder Name.  Detailed program info can be found at http://vcaweb.org/versatility.htm.  Contact Versatility Test Chairman Michelle Dowd with any questions and to pre-register.  Entries are on a first come-first serve basis.  E-mail: michelle@broadrunvizslas.com or Call: 703-851-5565

From Frederick, MD and Points South:  Take Route 15 North, and go approximately 6 miles north of Frederick, MD. Turn right onto Old Frederick Road.  Follow Old Frederick Road approximately 6 miles to the stop sign in Creagerstown.  Make a sharp right at the stop sign onto Route 550 South. The Farm is the third lane on the left.  Look for CVC Event sign.

From the North:  Take Route 15 South towards Thurmont. At Thurmont, take the Route 550 exit. Follow Route 550 South approximately 6 miles to Number 12155, which is the third lane on the left past the intersection of Route 550 and Old Frederick Road.  Look for CVC Event sign.
